Harry Peck

Harry Ralph Peck, 61, of Eden died unexpectedly in Eden on October 20th, 2024. Harry was born on March 4th, 1963 in Montpelier, VT to Kenneth and Florence Peck of Duxbury.

Harry grew up with 6 siblings in Duxbury. He attended Hardwood Union High School. He joined the Army where he completed Basic Training and served one term before being honorably discharged.

Harry was the loving father of four children. In 1991 Harry bought a piece of land on Eden Mountain there he raised his family and became the Eden Mountain Man. He was a jack of all trades, a one of a kind man. Doing this and that over the years logging, construction, truck driver, equipment operator and so much more. He loved to hunt, whether deer, bear, coon or his favorite rabbit he always enjoyed being in the woods. While on the mountain he raised hunting hounds. He prided himself on the strong bloodline and good training of his dogs.

Harry is survived by his children. Daughter Christina Limlaw and spouse Wes (Bub) Limlaw; their children Jonathan, Elizabeth, Kaitlin, Patrick and Katherine. Daughter Crystal and her children Landon and Erin Cochran. Daughter Crista and her partner Derrick Lowell and their children Grace and Melody Lowell. Son Liam and partner Delaney Loubier and their daughter Nora. His siblings Helena Dunbar of Waterbury. Lecia Peck of Waterbury. Dick Peck and wife Penny of Montpelier. Kenny Paul Peck and wife Tina of Barre. Ernest Peck of Wolcott. Lorie Knapp and husband Mike of Barre. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.

Harry was predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Florence Peck, brother in law Rick Dunbar, niece Jessica Peck, nephew Wyatt Peck, granddaughter Samantha Limlaw, and girlfriend Christine Pomer.

A graveside service will be held for the family at the Hope Cemetery in Waterbury, VT. 

A Celebration of life will be held at the Wolcott Town Hall December 7th, 2024 @ 1pm. Refreshments will be served. 4176 VT RTE 15 Wolcott, VT 05680.
