Jimmy was a kind-hearted and caring individual who always had a smile on his face. He possessed a unique personality that endeared him to all who knew him. He had a deep passion for cruises and embarked on many unforgettable voyages throughout his life. One of his most cherished memories was winning the belly flop contest on his first cruise. This triumph brought him immense joy and served as a testament to his adventurous spirit.
When Jimmy wasn't lounging by the pool or enjoying the endless ocean vistas during his cruises, he could often be found at the casino, where he found great delight in playing craps. The thrill of the game and the camaraderie around the craps tables brought out the best in him. Jimmy's quick wit and friendly nature made him an enjoyable companion to fellow gamblers, creating lasting connections and cherished memories.
Carrying around his belly flop contest trophy was one of Jimmy's proudest accomplishments. Although it may have been a modest "trophy," it symbolized his resilience and determination to conquer challenges with gusto, for reasons unknown to all of us, he bragged about that for years on end. we truly believe winning that contest is what made him love cruising.
Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife Darla, whom he married on December 1, 2005. Their union was one of unwavering love and friendship that brought immeasurable happiness to both their lives. The love they shared will continue to be a source of strength for Darla during this difficult time.
