Joshua Botala

Joshua Joseph Botala, passed away unexpectedly on July 15, 2024 in Milton, Vermont. He was born on February 5, 1999, in Newport, Vermont. Josh led a life full of kindness, compassion, and hard work leaving an impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Despite encountering an injury that cut short his military service Josh was resilient and continued to find ways to contribute to his community. Throughout his career at Island Tree Service and Poissant Auto in Alburgh VT, TDI Towing and Recovery in Swanton VT, CCR Sales & Service in Essex VT, and R.R. Charlebois in Milton VT, Josh exhibited a strong work ethic and a willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Josh found joy in playing football, hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with friends. His proudest accomplishments include serving in the Army, driving his work truck, deer hunting, cherishing his tools, and being able to assist anyone he could through his employment.

Josh was predeceased by his father Rudolph Botala and leaves behind his mother Tammy Turner, sister Rachel Botala, brother Rodney Botala, and a host of friends and colleagues who cherished his friendship and admired his dedication.

Josh will always be remembered for his sense of humor that could brighten anyone's day. His ability to find joy in every situation and make others laugh was truly a gift that he shared generously with those around him. May he rest in peace knowing that he touched the lives of many with his kind heart and indomitable spirit.
