Tammy Jean Cook

April 22, 1959 — July 13, 2022

It is with great sadness that Tammy Jean Judd Cook has lost her battle with cancer and pneumonia and passed on to her eternal home on July 13, 2022. Tammy was born April 22, 1959 in St. Albans, the fifth of seven children to the late Roy and Ruth Place Judd. As a young girl Tammy had a contagious smile and laugh that made making friends easy. As Tammy grew she was a sort of free spirit, liked parties, family get togethers, especially picnics on the Machia Road. She enjoyed going to fairs mainly the Brome Fair in Canada, spending time with her late Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Eldon in Highwater, Quebec. Tammy attended elementary school in Franklin and Fairfield and high school at Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans. Tammy's pride and joy was being a mother to her son David Cook of Sheldon. She also adored her canines Cruise and Sassy. Tammy was loved and cared for by her soul mate Leo Roberge. Upon retirement she started traveling through the states with Leo and her canines in a camper. They then began wintering in Florida and returning to her home state of Vermont in the spring. Tammy is survived by her son David Cook of Sheldon; her soul mate Leo Roberge of Fairfax; her siblings, Diane Comstock, Rodney Judd, Debbie Bolio, Karleen Place, Gary Judd (Leisha), Patti Judd, Dianne Rounds (Ted), Julie King (Wendall), and Mike Mitchel; Leo's children Jesse, George, Addi, and Christan;a very special cousin Linda Krack (Gerry) of St. Jacobs, Ontario; a very special aunt Rose Johnson of St. Albans, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Dale Judd, and a very special canine Bubba. A celebration of life will be held Thursday July 21, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the St. Albans Bay Park.
